MARY JOSEPHINE McDERMIT Widow of Albert McDermit, died at 9 o'clock last night at the family home, 527 Second street, Cresson. She was injured in a fall twenty years ago and was an invalid since that time. Mrs. McDermit suffered from a complication of ailments. She was 79 years of age. Surviving are the following children: Harry A., at home, Raymond E. of Johnstown, Mrs. Richard Bloom of New York, Robert, Victor, Maurice and Marie McDermit all at home, and fifteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Three children preceded her in death. Surviving also are the following brothers and sisters: William Mullen of Altoona, John Mullen of Cleveland, Mrs. Madeline Waddell and Mrs. Ella Kelley, both of Cresson. Mrs. McDermit was a member of St. Francis Catholic church, the Third Order of St. Francis and the Altar and Rosary societies.
