Sudden Death of a Cambria County Lady

A sudden death occurred at Lilly, Cambria county, about 2 o'clock 
yesterday afternoon.  Mrs. Sarah McDermitt, wife of Mr. Demetrius 
McDermitt, of near Chest Springs, had gone to Lilly to attend the 
funeral of her husband's mother.  The funeral occurred yesterday 
morning and in the afternoon Mrs. McDermitt, while at the residence of 
John Conrad, died suddenly of heart disease.

Deceased was aged about 62 years.  Besides her husband, who is a 
farmer, she is survived by these children: Mrs. Ellen Bender, Mrs. 
Jennie Lane and William McDermitt, of Braddock, Pa.; Frank and 
Gallitzin McDermitt, of Cambria county, and Raymond McDermitt, of 
Loraine, Ohio.

She was a member of the Catholic church.  The funeral will take place 
tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock, services being held in the church at 
that place.
