MRS. KATHARINE McGILLON,

Formerly of Loretto, Pa., but for the past six months of this city, died at 4.30 o'clock this 
morning at her home at 1419 Second avenue, death being caused by diseases incident to old age.  
She was born in Ireland in 1830, coming to this country when she was 11 years old.  She was 
married to Michael McGillon, who preceded her to the grave twenty-five years ago.  She had 
lived in Loretto for forty-three years, coming to Altoona six months ago.  She was a member of 
Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic church in this city.  Surviving are three children as follows: 
Mrs. Charles Parrish of Braddock, Pa., Martin and Miss Loretto, both at home.  She is also 
survived by five grandchildren.
