Friday, 3 Feb 1911 Volume 45, Number 5 Mrs. McGough Dead Mrs. Isabella McGough, widow of the late Thomas McGough, died at her home in Croyle Township near Lovett, Sunday afternoon after a long illness, death being due to diseases incident to old age. Mrs. McGough, whose maiden name was Isabella Plummer, was born in Croyle Township on August 31, 1834 and was a daughter of John Plummer. She was united in marriage to Thomas McGough at Wilmore in 1855 by the Rev. Father Tobias Mullen, afterwards Bishop of the Erie diocese of the Catholic Church. Her husband died in 1870 and Mrs. McGough has since continued to live on the old homestead. The deceased is survived by one sister, Mrs. Catharine Stoltz of Altoona, and three sons: Daniel A. McGough of Ebensburg; Charles McGough of Johnstown and George McGough of Franklin Borough. The funeral took place Wednesday morning from St. Bartholomew's Catholic Church at Wilmore of which the deceased was a lifelong member. A requiem high mass was celebrated by the pastor, the Rev. Father McKenna, after which interment took place in the Wilmore Catholic Cemetery.
