Friday, 9 Mar 1906 Volume 40, Number 9 Terrance McMahin Terrance McMahin, for the past thirty-seven years an inmate of the County Home, died of general debility at the almshouse at 4 o'clock Friday morning, aged eighty years. The deceased was born in Ireland, but had been in America since 1850. For a long time before being admitted to the county home, Mr. McMahin was employed by the Franciscans at Loretto. He was never married and leaves no relatives in this country. The funeral took place at 10 o'clock Saturday morning. The deceased was one of the oldest inmates of the home, having been admitted five years after Mary Ann Plum, the oldest inmate, who has been there since July 3, 1864. She formerly resided at Nicktown.
