Friday, 9 Mar 1906 Volume 40, Number 9 Thomas McNamara Thomas McNamara, for many years a resident of Ebensburg, died at 6:30 o'clock Sunday morning at his home in Kansas City, aged nearly sixty years. He had been ill for some time but the cause of his death was not given in the telegrams which reached Ebensburg friends Sunday. Mr. McNamara was the father of Harry F. McNamara, formerly an attorney of St. Louis, but at present engaged in the advertising business in New York City, and of Miss Louise McNamara. Both children survive with his wife. The family was quite well known in Ebensburg, they having for a number of years conducted Fenwycke Hall. Mr. McNamara was a veteran of the Civil War. He was a cousin of J. M. Thompson, the Ebensburg merchant, and formerly was connected for a number of years with a Philadelphia business house.
