Friday, 26 Mar 1909 Volume 43, Number 13 Old Injury Results in Death Edward Miller, aged 21 years, and a resident of Barnesboro, died at the Altoona hospital Monday night of cerebral degeneration, resulting from an injury to his head. He was a freight brakeman employed by the company and several months ago he fell from his train in the vicinity of Cherrytree and sustained head injuries. He was admitted to the hospital and his skull was trephined, with the result that he became better and was allowed to return to his home. Feb. 2 he was returned to the hospital and since then his condition became worse and he slowly sank until he passed away. His remains were sent to his home in Barnesboro.
