Friday, 8 Dec 1905 Volume 39, Number 48 Mrs. Julia Miller Mrs. Julia Miller, wife of Adam Miller, a well known farmer of Elder township, Cambria county, died at her home at that place Tuesday morning. For some time, Mrs. Miller had been a sufferer from Bright's disease and a week or so ago contracted typhoid fever from which resulted in her death. Mrs. Miller was the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Schrider, who came to Cambria county from Wilkesbarre some years ago and settled in the vicinity of Hastings. About the year 1868, she was joined in marriage to Adam Miller and at the time of her death was 55 years of age. She is survived by her husband and the following children: Philip who resides in Wilkesbarre; Adam, Jr., of Hastings; Mary, residing in Patton; and Maggie, Julia, Rose, Charley, Walter and Peter, who are residing at home. The funeral took place Thursday morning from the St. Bernard Catholic church where a solemn high requiem mass was celebrated and interment of the remains was made in the cemetery which at one time was a part of the farm where the deceased lived and died and which she and her husband donated to the church for burial purposes. The serious illness of Mr. Miller's youngest son, Peter, who has contacted the dreaded disease which caused the death of a loving wife and mother, adds to the sorrow and grief of this family.
