Mrs. Sue Miller
 
Spangler, Nov. 25 -- Residents of Spangler were shocked 
when they heard of the death Sunday evening of Mrs. Sue 
Miller, wife of Proprietor H. R. Miller of the Brandon 
Hotel.  The remains were taken to Tyrone where funeral 
services were held Wednesday afternoon.

Mrs. Sue Miller, whose maiden name was Sue Stetler, was 
born and reared in Newry, Blair County.  The date of her 
birth was Feb. 5, 1855 and she was consequently almost 55 
years of age.  She was married Feb. 6, 1877 to H. R. 
Miller. Her husband and three sons survive.  These sons are 
Charles A. Miller and R. B. Miller of Altoona and W. V. 
Miller of Spangler.  Mrs. Miller was very well known and 
greatly liked by Spangler people.
