Friday, 23 Aug 1912 Volume 45, Number 33 Death of Job Mills Job Mills, 76 years old, a native of Wales, died at 6:30 o'clock yesterday morning at his home in East Ward, Ebensburg, where he had lived since 1880. After Mr. Mills came to America in 1861, he resided in this country for nine years then returned to Wales where he married Miss Anna Pierce of Liverpool, England. He and his wife came to America and located in Columbus, O., where Mrs. Mills died in 1873. Two children died in infancy and one, Annie J., wife of Miles Clymens of Ebensburg, survives. In 1877 Mr. Mills was united in marriage with Mary J. Tibbott of Ebensburg, who also survives and has been an invalid for a number of years. While in Columbus, Mr. Mills was employed at the State Insane Asylum. In Ebensburg he was gardner and sexton at the Lloyd cemetery. He was deacon in the Congregational church of Columbus and Ebensburg and for 16 years was Treasurer of the Congregational Sunday School, Ebensburg. Mr. Mills was also a member of Lodge No. 145, I. O. O. F., of Columbus and of Seventh Encampment in the Odd Fellows. Mr. Mills' illness began four years ago. For 14 months he was confined to his bed and for six months he was entirely helpless. The body will be taken to Columbus for interment following brief services at the residence here this afternoon.
