Michael Murphy Dead 

Michael Murphy, an aged and respected citizen of Munster 
Township, died at his home three miles east of Ebensburg 
Sunday morning, at the age of 81 years.  The deceased was 
well known throughout this section of the county.  He is 
survived by five children as follows:  Michael, Charles and 
William Murphy and Mrs. Maggie Eger and Mrs. Mary Leitz, 
the former of Cresson Township and the latter of Cambria 
Township.  The funeral was held Tuesday morning from the 
church of the Holy Name, Ebensburg, of which the deceased 
had been a member.  Interment was made in the church 
cemetery.
