LOCAL ITEMS IN BRIEF.

William Murray, a young man aged 19 years, was drowned in the 
Clearfield creek about one mile from Frugality on last Saturday evening 
at 5 o'clock.  The accident occurred while he was bathing.  His home 
was at Mountaindale, where his parents reside.
