Sister Gonzaga Dead 

Sister Gonzaga, a sister of Miss Margaret Myers of the West ward, this place, and of Mrs. 
H. A. Shoemaker, also of this place, died at 6 o'clock Saturday evening December 22nd 
in the Sisters of Mercy convent at Pittsburg.  Sister Gonzaga, who was known in the 
world as Miss Susan Myers, was in her seventy-sixth year and succumbed to the 
diseases incident to old age. She took the veil when a young woman and had been 
stationed all her life either at Pittsburg or at St. Xavier's near Latrobe, to which place her 
remain were taken for interment.
