PATTON MINER CRUSHED

Altoona, February, 3. - John O'Brien was fatally crushed between the 
cutting of a wall and a draft of runaway cars in a mine at Patton 
Friday evening. O'Brien was one of the delegates to the miners and 
operators conference, which adjusted the wage scale in this city on 
Thursday, and was just starting to work when hurt.
