Peter Odenthal, aged 63 years, of Portage Township, died at 6:15 o'clock Saturday evening at the Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient since November 15. Death was due to gangrene. The remains were taken to Portage yesterday by Undertake John Tickerhoof, of Portage, and after being prepared for burial were removed to the Odenthal home. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 o'clock tomorrow morning in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Portage, a solemn high mass of requiem to be celebrated by the Rev. Father G. R. Welch. Interment will be St. Bartholomew's Catholic Church Cemetery at Wilmore. The deceased is survived by the following children: William and Albert Odenthal. McKeesport; Mrs. Jacob Hershberger, Mrs. Dora Stager and Mrs. Bertha Werick, all of Portage; also these stepchildren: Harry and John Wiggins and Mrs. John Barron, all of McKeesport, and Mrs. Harry Dentrick, of Pittsburg. Forty-six grandchildren also survive.
