Funeral of Mrs. Sophia Ofier 

The funeral of the late Mrs. Sophia Ofier, who was killed 
by a fall downstairs at her home at Benscreek, this county, 
last Saturday evening after she had been seized with an 
epileptic fit, took place at Lilly Monday afternoon, 
interment being in St. Bridget's cemetery.  She was 26 
years of age and is survived by her husband and one child, 
three years old.  Mr. Ofier was a patient at the Memorial 
Hospital in Johnstown at the time of his wife's death, 
receiving treatment for the fracture of an arm. He attended 
the funeral at Lilly Monday and returned to the Memorial 
Hospital for further treatment.
