Former Lilly Man Meets Death 

Daniel O'Neill, a formerly Lilly young man who left this place a few years 
ago and who has since been employed on railroads in and around Pittsburg, 
was killed Tuesday in a head-on collision between freight trains on the 
Western New York & Pennsylvania railroad near Voland, Mercer County.  
O'Neill was 25 years of age and before leaving Lilly had been working in 
the mines there and for a time was employed by the PRR.
