Emil Pankratz, a German, had his head so badly crushed by a fall of 
rock at the Conemaugh slope Saturday that he died before he could be 
taken from the slope.  He was 34 years of age and leaves a widow and 
two children.  The funeral took place from his late home in Brownstown 
Sunday afternoon.
