Friday, 23 Aug 1907 Volume 41, Number 34 Death of Mrs. Christina Pfister of Nicktown Mrs. Christina Pfiester (sic), one of the best known and most highly respected ladies of Nicktown, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Kirsch, on Friday, August 16th, of a paralytic stroke. She was in the 75th year of her age. Deceased was the daughter of the late Bernard Lambour and wife, among the first settlers of Cambria county. She is survived by the following children: Wandelin, Ortha, Mrs. Frank Kirsch, and Nicholas, all of Cambria County and Fredlin of Ohio. Her husband and one daughter preceded her to the grave some years ago. Her funeral was largely attended and her loss will be felt by many, as she had a great many friends. There was quite a large number of relatives and friends present at the funeral, which took place on Monday morning at 10 o'clock in St. Nicholas church at Nicktown, and her remains were laid to rest in the cemetery connected with the church.
