QUINN A past commander of the Gallitzin Memorial post 174, American Legion, died at Mercy hospital Sunday afternoon at 12:40 o'clock. A prominent Gallitzin business man, Mr. Quinn was the owner of the Variety store. He was a member of the Gallitzin Lions club, Moose, Gallitzin Fire company, member of the Holy Name society of St. Patrick's church, Gallitzin. Mr. Quinn was born Oct. 22, 1896, a son of Daniel and Mary (McGarvey) Quinn. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Irene (Reed) Quinn; two daughters, Dorothy and Rose, at home; three sisters, Mrs. C. C. Plunkett, and Mrs. G. F. Rosensteel, both of Gallitzin, and Miss Emma F. Quinn of Pittsburgh, and on brother, Joseph J. Quinn, Gallitzin postmaster.
