(Ebensburg, Pa.) 1867-1938: February 27, 1868 Mrs. Veronica Reilly, widow of Mr. Maurice Reilly, dec'd, and sister of M. M. Adams Esq., died very suddenly, at her residence in Summitville borough, this county, Friday night last. She retired to bed, in apparent good health, between ten and eleven o'clock on the night stated, but in less than an hour afterward arose from her bed and lit a candle, and summoning her family to her, announced to them that she was going to die, and requested that the priest should be sent for without delay. Father Ryan was soon in attendance and administered the sacraments of the church, and e're twelve o'clock her immortal spirit had winced its way to the God who gave it. Mrs. Reilly was a most exemplary woman and kind-hearted neighbor, and her sudden death has not only startled but deeply grieved a large circle of relatives and sympathizing friends. She was forty odd years of age, and the mother of a large family. May she rest in peace.
