The Cambria freeman. (Ebensburg, Pa.) 1867-1938: November 29, 1872
Died in this place on Saturday last, after a prolonged illness, Mrs. Eliza Ritter,
wife of David Ritter, deceased, aged about 56 years. Mrs. Ritter was born in
Gettysburg, Adams county, but was brought to this place by her parents when only a
few months old. In all the relations of wife, mother, neighbor and friend she
discharged her duties faithfully and well, and endeared herself to our entire
community. She has left the record of a good life behind her, and long should her
memory be cherished by her family, friends and neighbors, Her remains were interred
in Lloyd cemetery on Tuesday in the presence of a large concourse of people.
