Francis, near this borough, on Friday morning, the 29th ult., the Rev. Thos. G. Roberts, in the 65th year of his age. He was the eldest son of the late Rev. Geo. Roberts. He entered the ministry in the 25th year of his age, becoming pastor of a Congregationalist church in Pittsburgh, Penna. In the year 1828 he removed to Butler county, Ohio, taking charge of the Congregationalist Church in New London. Here his disease, epilepsy which had attacked hi during his residence in Pittsburgh, increased to such a degree that he was compelled to resign his charge and return to his native mountain. The best medical treatment was employed, and for some time hopes were entertained that his health might be restored...
