Democrat and sentinel: (Ebensburg, Pa.) 1853-1866: July 28, 1858
At the residence of Mr. Robert Williams, in Cambria township, on the 24th inst., Mr.
Ellis Rowland, in the 93d(?) year of his age. The deceased was one of the pioneers
of this county and was well known to nearly all of its first settlers. He was an
honest man, a sincere christian, and always commanded the esteem of those who knew
him.
