Volume 3, Number 8 Thursday, November 14, 1861 Man Killed We learn from the Cambria TRIBUNE that a Welshman named Daniel J. Rees, engaged in the coal mines of the Cambria Iron Company was instantly killed in the drift in which he was working on the 7th inst., by the falling upon him of a mass of coal. An inquest was held and a verdict of accidental death returned in accordance with facts. The deceased was about forty-five years of age and leaves a wife and four children.
