Friday, 9 Apr 1909 Volume 43, Number 15 Former Ebensburger Dead Reese Ellis, Native of Wales, Dies at His home in West Newton Indiana, April 8 -- A complication of diseases caused the death of Reese Ellis at his home in West Newton. The deceased, who was seventy-five years of age, was born in Wales but was brought to America when a child by his parents who settled in Ebensburg. The greater part of his life was spent in this county. He was a miller by occupation and at various times operated large gristmills. Besides his wife, who was Miss Belle McCartney, the following children survive: Dr. C. Herbert and Wilmer Ellis of New Brighton; Harry Ellis of Pittsburg and Miss Mary Ellis, at home.
