MRS. ELIZABETH REFFNER

Widow of Daniel Reffner of Roseland, near Glasgow, died at 11 o'clock 
yesterday morning at the age of 70 years. She had spent her entire life 
in that community. She was a daughter of William Simmers, well known 
Civil war veteran of that community. She is survived by the following 
children:  James, Jacob, Maxell, Eva, Christ and Benjamin, at home and 
Daniel of Fallen Timber, and the following brothers and sisters:  Mrs. 
Margaret Reffner and Mrs. Annie Kuhn of Roseland, William Simmers of 
Fallen Timber and John F. Simmers of Duncansville. Funeral services 
will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in the United Brethren 
church, of which she was a member. Interment will be made in Pleasant 
Hill cemetery.
