Well-known retired miner residing at Barnesboro, R.D., died last evening at 4.55 o'clock at the Miners' hospital, Spangler, death being attributed to a heart ailment. He was the son of John J. and Mary E. (Cronauer) Reffner and was born at St. Boniface Feb. 28, 1895. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Grace (Kelso) Reffner, and his father, residing in Spangler, and one brother and three sisters, H. J. Reffner of Ebensburg, Mrs. Mary Plate, Mrs. Florence Fallon and Mrs. J. S. Walters, all of Akron, O. Friends will be received at the Long funeral home, Barnesboro, after 6 o'clock this evening.
