Dies Sitting in Chair
 
Thomas Reilly, Admitted from Johnstown, Expires at 
Almshouse

Thomas Reilly, eighty-five years of age, died at 8:15 
o'clock Tuesday evening while sitting in a chair at the 
Almshouse.  He had been ailing for a year with diseases 
that usually accompany old age, but was up and around as 
late as fifteen minutes before his death. The deceased was 
admitted to the home December 6, 1894, from Johnstown.  As 
far as the authorities have been able to learn, he has no 
relatives living in this locality. Friends, however, had 
mass said yesterday morning in the Holy Name Catholic 
Church and interment in the new Catholic cemetery, west of 
Ebensburg.
