Mrs. William Richter

Mrs. William Richter, whose maiden name was Mary Ann Luther, and who was born in 
Carroll township, died on October 12 at the home of her son, Pius Richter, at Melville, 
Minn., aged 71 years.  Mary Ann Luther was married to William Richter in 1859 and they 
located in Minnesota in 1875.  Besides her husband, the woman is survived by seven 
children; two brothers – Valentine Luther of Carroll township and Sebastian Luther of 
Altoona; by two sisters – Mrs. Engelhart Bender of near Patton and Sister Angela O. S. 
B. of the Convent of St. Mary's, Pa.  The funeral was held Monday at Melville.
