MARY RISBON HAS PASSED AWAY Former Cresson and Munster Resident Succumbs at Her Home in Altoona ALTOONA, Dec. 8. – Mrs. Mary (Kearney) Risbon, aged 70 years, wife of Anthony T. Risbon, died Saturday at her home here, following a stroke of paralysis. Mrs. Risbon came to Altoona a year ago from Munster. She was a daughter of John and Rose (McNichol) Kearney and was born August 11, 1860, at Munster. She and Anthony Risbon were married January 1, 1878, the ceremony being performed at St. Aloysius' Catholic Church at the Summit by the Rev. Father Thomas Davin. Mrs. Risbon is survived by her husband and the following children: Maude, wife of Thomas Bradley, of Cresson; Ruth, of Norristown; Sisters M. Norbert and Valeria, both of Seton Hill Seminary, Greensburg; Hilda, wife of George Baum, of Cleveland, O.; Mercedes, wife of C. E. Maloney, of Pittsburg; Miss Auirea, of Philadelphia, and Leo, of Canton, O. She was a sister of Michael Kearney, of Cresson, and Mrs. Vance Baird, of Altoona. A brother, Daniel, passed away last July in Cresson. Two sons also preceded her to the grave. The deceased was a member of St. Therese's Catholic Church here, where a solemn high mass of requiem will be celebrated tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock. The body will be taken to Lilly for interment in St. Brigid's Catholic Church Cemetery.
