Death Thomas G. Rosensteel 

Thomas G. Rosensteel, a former resident of Ebensburg, and 
father of Mrs. John O'Hara and John Rosensteel, of this 
place, died at the residence of his son, Rev. Father T. W. 
Rosensteel in Sharpsburg, near Pittsburg, Wednesday night, 
aged eighty-six years.

His death was due to general debility and a complication of 
diseases from which he had suffered for more than a year.

The deceased was born at Emmitsburg, Md., where he spent 
his childhood.  After his marriage he moved to Loretto, 
this county, and later lived at Ebensburg and other places 
in Cambria County.

About five years ago he went to Sharpsburg to make his home 
with his son, mentioned above.

Mr. Rosensteel is survived by his wife and the following 
children:  Mrs. John O'Hara and John Rosensteel, named 
above; Mrs. John T. McGahan of Johnstown; Rev. Father T. W. 
Rosensteel of Sharpsburg, Md., and Rev. Father C. O. 
Rosensteel of Locust Green, Md.
