The Cambria freeman. (Ebensburg, Pa.) 1867-1938: July 21, 1870
At Carrolltown, Pa., on Friday, the 15th inst., Martin Schroth, aged 72 years and 8
months. The subject of the above notice was widely and familiarly known. He was born
in the province of Baden, Germany in 1797, and emigrated to Pennsylvania in 1832. He
was one of the early settlers in the vicinity of Carrolltown, and was closely
identified with its progress and improvement...
