The Alleghanian. (Ebensburg, Pa.) 1859-1865: June 12, 1862
At his residence, in Carroll township, this county, on Saturday evening, 7th
instant, Mr. Gordon Sinclair, aged about 60 years. The deceased was well known
throughout the county, and highly esteemed for his many good qualities of head and
heart. He was a kind husband, an indulgent parent, an obliging neighbor, quiet and
unostentatious, yet God's noblest work, a good, true man. He lived and died a
sincere Christian.
