The Cambria freeman. (Ebensburg, Pa.) 1867-1938: February 28, 1873
Died, near Carrolltown, Feb. 20th, after a brief illness, Michael O. Skelly, aged
about 71 years. The deceased was born near what is now the borough of Wilmore, this
county, and was a son of Philip O. Skelly, a soldier of the American Revolution. He
was esteemed by all who knew him as a good citizen... His remains were accompanied
to their last earthly resting place in the Catholic cemetery at Carrolltown by a
large concourse of friends and relatives...
