ANDREW SALTSGIVER

Well known retired farmer, died at his home in Clearfield township, near Patton, Cambria 
county, yesterday afternoon at 3:45 o'clock.  He was the son of John and Mary Ann (Baum) 
Saltsgiver and was born near Patton on July 8, 1865.  His wife, Mrs. Mary Jane (Huber) 
Saltsgiver, died a number of years ago.  Surviving are these children: Mrs. J. C. Eckenrode, Mrs. 
R. L. Servert and Mrs. Thomas Noll, all of Johnstown, Mrs. Louis Leopold of Altoona and John 
and Albert Saltsgiver, both at home.  Also surviving are these sisters: Mrs. Sarah Decker of 
Duncansville and Mrs. Thomas Fitzpatrick of Patton, and a number of grandchildren.  He was a 
member of St. Mary's Catholic church in Patton.
