SCANLON Died at the residence of Andrew Boslet, 2121 Nineteenth street, this morning at 4:40 o'clock, of typhoid pneumonia. The deceased contracted a heavy cold while attending the funeral of his brother in Carrolltown about three weeks ago, which turned into pneumonia, and he had been confined to his bed ever since his return to this city. Mr. Scanlon had been a resident of this city, of[f] and on for the past two years, and was employed as a carpenter by Mr. Boslet, with whom he made his home. He was aged about 54 years. He lived the greater part of his life in Carrolltown. He is survived by his mother and three brothers - William, James and Henry - and one sister, Mrs. J. C. Easly, all of Carrolltown. The remains will be taken to Carrolltown for interment.
