Friday, 26 Jul 1907 Volume 41, Number 30 Killed at Barnesboro George Sedlack, a well-to-do Slavish merchant and a respected citizen of Barnesboro, met a sudden death Tuesday afternoon about 2:15 o'clock. Mr. Sedlack was having a number of improvements made to his home and he had ascended to the scaffolding at the top of the house to ascertain how the work was progressing. One of the boards gave way and he was precipitated twenty- five feet to a pile of stones in the alley below. The top of his head was crushed in as though it were an egg shell and he died instantly. Mr. Sedlack was about forty years of age and leaves a wife and four children.
