Peter Sharbaugh

Peter Sharbaugh, one of the most prominent residents of northern Cambria county, died 
Wednesday at his home in Carrolltown at the age of 92 years.  He was a native of 
Germany and was brought to this county when 5 years of age, continuing his home in 
Cambria county since that time.  His wife died about 10 years ago and the surviving 
children are:  Charles of Cresson; J. C.; J. J.; Mrs. McCauley and Mrs. Sadie Meisel, all of 
Carroll township; Joseph of Gallitzin and Sister Dolorosa of St. Joseph's convent, 
Pittsburg.

The funeral took place at Carrolltown this morning from St. Benedict's Catholic church, 
with interment in St. Benedict's cemetery.
