Mrs. Lizzie E. Shoemaker

  Mrs. Lizzie E. Shoemaker died at her home in Gallitzin at 1:30 
o'clock Tuesday morning of pleurisy.  She is survived by her husband, 
Simon Shoemaker, and two sons, Alvin and Roy and one sister, Mrs. Ella 
J. Jones of Altoona; also one brother, Martin Gardner of Latrobe.  The 
deceased was born in Carlisle, August 30, 1857.  She was married in 
Altoona in 1882.  The funeral took place at 10 o'clock Thursday 
morning.
