MRS. JOHN SMITH

  On Tuesday evening, February 7, Mrs. John Smith died at her home in Dysart, Cambria county, 
aged 65 years.  Beside her husband she is survived by three children: John A., of Eldorado; 
Hugh, of Dysart, and Mrs. Mary Shoffner, of the latter named place.  One sister, Mrs. Mary 
Brant, of Altoona, also survives, with one nephew and three nieces, as follows: John McFeely, 
Miss Bridget McFeely, Mrs. Mary Deffly, Mrs. Catharine Tiernan.  Two brothers, Hugh and 
Patrick, are still living in Ireland.  With her husband the deceased came to Hollidaysburg in the 
year 1866, afterward removing to Cambria county.
