Mrs. Somerville, wife of Reuel Somerville, Esq., of Patton, died at 
her home in that place on Wednesday evening. Death resulted from an 
operation performed on Mrs. Somerville recently.  The couple had been 
married but a short time.





Gable, John E., History of Cambria County, Pennsylvania, 1926, p. 790:

    Mr. Somerville was married in September, 1902, to Miss Eva Rebecca 
Derr, of Renovo, Pa., but following a brief illness, she died in May of 
the following year. On July 7, 1907, Mr. Somerville married Miss 
Catherine Metzler, of Fulton County, Pa., the daughter of George F. and 
Tena (Clevinger) Metzler. Mr. Metzler resides at Harrisonville, Pa. His 
wife is deceased. Mr. and Mrs. Somerville have three children: Dorothy, 
born in 1910; George, born in 1915; and Naomi, born in 1917.
