STRAUB--Evelyn, 93, Allegheny Lutheran Home, formerly of 
Richland Township, died April 1, 2003, at her residence. Born 
May 25, 1909, in Gallitzin, daughter of William E. and Lillie 
(Bechtel) Younkins. Preceded in death by parents, husband 
Claude; brothers, Paul, Charles, Edgar, Harry and Leroy;  
and sisters Erma Calafiore and Audrey Zilch. Survived by 
daughter, Doris, wife of Robert Repp, New Port Richey, Fla. and 
son, William E., married to former Ella Mae Nester, Everett. 
Also survived by six grandchildren and seven great-
grandchildren. Sister of Virginia Shaw, Johnstown. She was a 
member of Richland Christian Church. By request, there will be 
no public viewing. Funeral service will be private and at the 
convenience of the family. Interment Richland Cemetery. In lieu 
of flowers, family suggests contributions to Emmanuel Baptist 
Church. Arrangements by Henderson-Ketterer Funeral Home, 
Geistown.
