The mountain sentinel: (Ebensburg, Pa.) 1844-1853: October 28, 1852
At his residence in Cambria township, on the 13th inst., Mr. Richard Tibbot,  aged
60 years. Mr. Tibbot left some months since for California and there contracted the
disease which terminated in his death. He returned home but a few days previous to
the time of his decease, and died in the midst of a large circle of friends and
relatives. He was one of the hardy and industrious Welsh pioneers, and as an honest
man and worthy citizen was not excelled.
