Friday, 8 Nov 1912 Volume 45, Number 44 William Tate Jr. Dies William Tate Jr., 79 years old, one of the best known residents of Ebensburg, died yesterday morning following a lingering illness with leakage of the heart. Mr. Tate was a plumber until he retired a few years ago. He was a Deacon in the Congregational Church and in politics was a Republican. The deceased is survived by his second wife and the following children: Fred Tate of Ebensburg and Mrs. Fannie Davidson, Miss Albert Tate and Miss Adeline Tate, all of Bellevue, Pittsburg. Funeral services will be conducted in the Congregational church this evening and the body will be taken to Bellevue Saturday morning. Further services will be held at the Tate homestead, Bellevue, Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Interment will be in Uniondale cemetery.
