Friday, April 17, 1903 David Thomas, who was killed near the roundhouse at Cresson, was a brakeman on the Ebensburg branch. He had formerly worked for the Pennsylvania railroad at Irwin. While at work he slipped between two cars and was fatally injured, dying in a few minutes. He was about thirty years of age and unmarried.
