MISS MARY TIBBENS.

  Mr. Harry U. Tibbens, of Connellsville, who with his wife is visiting the latter's mother, Mrs. 
M. J. Rhodes, in this city, yesterday received a telegram announcing the death of his sister, Miss 
Mary Tibbins, which sad event occurred at Patton, Cambria county, in the early morning.  She 
was aged 23 years.  The cause of death was a complication of diseases, of which catarrh of the 
stomach was most prominent.  Beside her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George M. Tibbens, she leaves 
these near relatives: Her brothers are Harry U. Tibbens, of Connellsville; George H., William E., 
and D. Winfield, of Patton.  Also one sister, Mrs. Margaret G. Farber, of Conemaugh.  The 
funeral will take place today.
