The Johnstown Tribune says that D. R. Tonner, of Susquehanna township, Cambria county, was found dead in his bed at the house at which he boarded, in that district, yesterday morning. It seems that the evening previous he complained of not feeling as well as usual, and retired to rest at an early hour. During the night a member of Mr. Welland's family, where he had been residing for several years past, called in to see him, and found that he was sleeping soundly and breathing naturally. At the usual breakfast hour Mr. Tonner had always been very punctual, but the inmates of the house were surprised at his not appearing that morning, when one of them went up to call him. His room door was partially open, and it seems that during the night he got up and evidently intended awaking some member of the household, but returned back to his couch. The young man who went to call him found that he was lying across the bed and the vital spark had fled. Deceased was aged about 60 years, and was unmarried.
