Perry Troxell Dead 

Perry Troxell, a well-to-do farmer of Reade Township, 
became ill last Saturday and although everything possible 
was done for him, died last Tuesday.  He was 84 years of 
age. Until about three years ago the deceased was an active 
farmer, but following the death of his wife, had led a 
retired life.  He is survived by the following children:  
John, ex-commissioner of Clearfield County; Samuel of Van 
Ormer; Jacob of Glasgow; Lemuel at Blandburg; Margaret, 
wife of J. C. Mulvehill of Reade Township and Mary, wife of 
Chris Mulhollen of Reade Township.  The funeral was held 
Thursday with interment at Pleasant Hill cemetery.  Mr. 
Troxell was of a generous spirit and was a stanch Democrat 
all his life.
