VAN PATTEN.

Warren D. Van Patten, for years the station master at Colver, died at 
the Blair County hospital Saturday evening, of chronic Bright's 
disease, aged 58 years.  He was born in New York state, the son of Joel 
and Elizabeth Van Patten.  One sister, Mrs. F. D. Clark, of Colver, 
survives.  The remains were turned over to Undertakers Lafferty and 
Tobias and today they will be shipped to Corning, N.Y., where funeral 
services will be held Wednesday.
